1 recipe pastry Apples
1 cup top milk
2 tablespoons sugar
Pinch salt

1 tbsp. unflavored gelatin
2 egg whites
1/4 c. cold water
1/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 egg yolks
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Step 1: Soak gelatin in cold water for 10 min.
Step 2: Scald milk in a double boiler.
